Consider it for
- Three-screen office layouts with an SD-card workflow
- A desk that also needs front accessory charging
Check before buying
- Mixed display resolution limits
- Protected video content is not supported by the DisplayLink arrangement
The third display is not a third identical video channel
One HDMI port supports 4K at 30Hz through native USB-C video; two additional HDMI ports use DisplayLink at up to 1920 × 1200 at 60Hz. Decide which application belongs on each screen before buying. A spreadsheet and two reference windows are a better match than three high-resolution editing displays.
Check the exact configuration and included power supply.

The rear USB-C connection supplies the laptop, with current documentation listing up to 100W. The front USB-C accessory port provides up to 20W. Connect the host at the rear: the convenient front socket is not an interchangeable laptop input. Four USB-A 5Gbps connections handle the remaining peripherals.
Plan deployment before moving your desk
The two DisplayLink screens need the appropriate software, and the native screen needs DisplayPort Alt Mode from the laptop. A work computer with restricted software permissions should be cleared with IT first. Keeping the monitor cables labeled by port number will also make it easier to isolate a software problem from a native-video problem later.
