Anker allocates 20W from a suitable 100W supply to operating the hub, leaving up to 80W for the host. If your laptop already needs a full 100W supply, this is not equivalent to connecting that charger directly. Compare the actual laptop output with the charger recommendation in your computer’s manual.

The manufacturer’s multi-screen notes specify that the number of extended displays depends on the graphics card. They also say macOS does not support the multi-display extended mode. A diagram showing four screens can include the laptop panel; do not read it as four external monitors.
Sort power, data, and display cables before deployment
The PD input is charging-only, and the USB-A/USB-C data sockets do not carry monitor video. The attached host cable is roughly 20cm, making the location of a raised laptop stand relevant. This hub is best considered after you have an exact list of connections and have verified the simultaneous display mode.
